Description
Areva T&D UK Ltd supplied and installed the mechanical and electrical equipment for the two offshore substations forming the Sheringham Shoal Offshore Transmission Assets, under a construction-phase contract from StatoilHydro. The scope included delivery and installation of 4 x 132/33 kV transformers, 4 x 33/0.4 kV earthing and auxiliary transformers, 4 x 33 kV GIS switchgear sets and 4 x 132 kV GIS switchgear sets on the offshore platforms. This role covered both manufacture/procurement of the main HVAC substation equipment and its offshore installation and commissioning on the OFTO assets.
