From 1 April 2009, ownership of Scira Offshore Energy Ltd, the developer of the Sheringham Shoal transmission assets and wind farm, changed so that StatoilHydro (later Statoil) and Statkraft each held a 50% stake, with StatoilHydro acting as operator for the development phase.
