On 1 June 2007, Sheringham Shoal developer Scira Offshore Energy Limited signed an 'articles of agreement' with EDF Energy, securing the distribution grid connection at the Salle 132 kV substation for the Sheringham Shoal offshore transmission assets. This agreement formed part of the qualifying pre-conditions for the OFTO transition of the Sheringham Shoal transmission system.
