In 2020, Equinor completed all offshore ecology baseline surveys for SEP and DEP, including offshore ornithology, marine mammals and benthic ecology, concluding a two-year survey programme whose results, together with a survey of shipping and navigation, were to feed into the Preliminary Environmental Information Report (PEIR).
