On 17 April 2024, the Sheringham Shoal Extension Project, jointly developed with the Dudgeon Extension under SEP and DEP, was selected as a Pathfinder project for coordinated offshore transmission development under the UK Government’s Offshore Transmission Network Review. This regulatory designation recognises the extensions’ integrated transmission options and positions the project to help shape coordinated offshore grid solutions while minimising environmental and community impacts in Norfolk.
