Equinor and its partners in the Sheringham Shoal Extension Project (SEP) and Dudgeon Extension Project (DEP) agreed to bring the two extensions under a single joint ownership structure in one legal entity, so the Sheringham Shoal and Dudgeon offshore wind farm extensions will be developed as a single project off the North Norfolk coast. The unitisation aims to simplify governance, unlock economic efficiencies, and de-risk both generation and transmission by sharing joint infrastructure, with completion subject to obtaining required regulatory approvals.
