Around 2019, The Crown Estate completed a plan-level Habitats Regulations Assessment for the 2017 offshore wind project extension applications, including the Sheringham Shoal Extension, assessing potential impacts on European nature conservation sites and confirming that seven of eight projects could progress towards award of rights.
