On 15 October 2012, Seagreen Wind Energy Limited submitted applications to the Scottish Ministers for Section 36 consents and associated marine licences for the Seagreen Alpha and Seagreen Bravo Offshore Wind Farms and the Seagreen Transmission Asset in the Firth of Forth. The applications comprised an application letter and Environmental Statement and were recorded by Marine Scotland as a renewables (wind) application for construction and operation of the wind farm area.
