Substation Supplier Selected

Following its earlier preferred supplier role, Petrofac was ultimately awarded an EPCI contract to deliver the Seagreen transmission substations, encompassing both the offshore substation platform (including its six‑legged jacket foundation and associated transport and installation) and the onshore substation at Tealing. Linxon, which had originally been part of a joint EPCI offer, withdrew as a direct contractor and instead became a subcontractor to Petrofac for the onshore substation and HVAC scope, while the final contract price and terms were concluded and the two main EPCI contracts for cables and substations were formally awarded to Nexans and Petrofac respectively.
