Onshore Construction Start

SSE Renewables' Seagreen project update "Seagreen cable works at Carnoustie Golf Links move to next phase" states that the next phase of works to lay the onshore cable bringing power from the Seagreen Offshore Wind Farm to Scotland was due to commence at Carnoustie Golf Links in the week commencing 5 October, with an overall works programme to progress the laying of the underground cable starting in the coming days. This marks the practical start of onshore cable construction along the Carnoustie route for the Seagreen Offshore Transmission Asset, aligning with the planned Q4 2020 start for onshore works.
