The July 2021 Forth and Tay Offshore Wind Commercial Fisheries Working Group newsletter reports that at Seagreen, site establishment and deployment of construction marker buoys would take place before the planned start of offshore construction works in Q3 2021, and that "Offshore works will commence with OSP jacket installation in mid-September" with installation of wind farm and further transmission asset infrastructure ramping up from Q3/Q4 2021. This indicates that the commencement of offshore construction for the Seagreen Offshore Transmission Assets occurred around mid‑September 2021, later than the original Q4 2020 plan.
