As part of Tender Round 9 (TR9) for the Seagreen Phase 1 offshore transmission link, Ofgem’s documentation set an initial transfer/estimated value of the Seagreen Phase 1 transmission assets at £633.3 million, representing the price basis for the OFTO to purchase the offshore and onshore substations and export cables from the generator, subject to Ofgem’s subsequent cost assessment and final transfer value determination.
