The developers of the Broadshore Hub, including the Broadshore, Sinclair and Scaraben Offshore Wind Farms, planned public consultation events on 26 and 27 November 2024 to gather community feedback on five potential onshore substation locations near the new Netherton Hub substation west of Peterhead. These consultations aim to engage local communities early in the onshore site selection process for connecting power from the offshore wind farms, which together will form the 1.1 GW Broadshore Hub.
