On 4 December 2024, Arup was appointed by the BlueFloat Energy and Nadara partnership to lead a floating offshore wind innovation study for the Scaraben and Sinclair wind farms, assessing emerging floating technology options, their risks and benefits, and advising which innovations have the greatest potential to support delivery and operation of future commercial-scale projects in Scotland.
