Description
TWD engineers provided design and fabrication of foundation installation equipment to support Bilfinger’s foundation installation works at the Sandbank offshore wind farm. The delivered package included a monopile gripper tool with a hydro sound damper (HSD) deployment system, an HSD deployment frame, and an upending hinge. TWD also produced seafastening structures for stacked monopiles and for various transition pieces, delivering the requested items designed, fabricated, and ready for operation within nine months.
