Description
Siemens was awarded a contract by Vattenfall to supply 72 SWT-4.0-130 (4 MW) wind turbines for the 288 MW Sandbank offshore wind farm in the German North Sea. The contract scope also included maintenance services for an initial five-year period. During the installation campaign, Siemens worked with the installation vessel MPI Adventure to install the final turbines at Sandbank.
