Manufacturing Update

By the end of 2015, Bladt Industries had completed fabrication and load-out of all 72 transition pieces for the Sandbank offshore wind farm at its Aalborg yard in Denmark. Manufacturing had begun in the third quarter of 2014 and proceeded largely according to plan, with only minor weather-related issues extending load-out times. The final transition piece was sailed away from Aalborg by late 2015, concluding Bladt’s onshore manufacturing campaign for these components and enabling their integration with EEW SPC’s monopiles offshore.
