Italy’s Ministry for the Environment and Energy Security (MASE), through its environmental assessments directorate, opened the EIA scoping public consultation (Definizione contenuti SIA – Scoping) for the preliminary 504 MW offshore wind farm "San Pietro Sud" off Portoscuso, Sardinia, promoted by Regolo Rinnovabili S.r.l. The scoping procedure (code 9292) began on 25 January 2023, ran until 24 February 2023, and was later concluded with the communication of the outcome to the proponent on 5 July 2023.
