RTE noted that, following the favourable 2016 public inquiry, the Declaration of Public Utility (DUP) and all required administrative authorisations for the Saint-Brieuc grid connection were obtained and signed in spring 2017. This planning decision authorised construction of the double 225 kV submarine (about 33 km) and underground (about 16 km) link from the offshore wind farm in the Bay of Saint-Brieuc to the Doberie substation in Hénansal, crossing the communes of Erquy, Saint-Alban and Hénansal.
