RTE began onshore construction for the Saint-Brieuc offshore wind farm grid connection on 12 October 2020, starting earthworks and extension of the 225 kV Doberie substation in Hénansal. This marked the commencement of civil works for the 16 km double 225 kV onshore connection that links the Caroual landfall to the national transmission network for the 496 MW wind farm.
