By 25 July 2022, RTE had commenced the final offshore phase of the Saint-Brieuc grid connection, with marine works under way to install the double 225 kV submarine export cables between the offshore substation and the French coast near Erquy. These activities marked the start of offshore laying of the high-voltage export links that connect the wind farm to the onshore network.
