Description
Alsthom Atlantique acted as a subcontractor to CGEE ALSTHOM for the Lucciana HVDC converter station in Corsica, which forms the 50 MW third terminal of the SACOI 2 multi‑terminal link. Commissioned in 1985, this station uses thyristor valve technology. Alsthom Atlantique contributed to detailed design, manufacturing and supply of key converter components, and supported installation and commissioning of the single 12‑pulse converter unit and its associated equipment at Lucciana.
