Harland and Wolff provided port-side logistics and assembly support for the Robin Rigg offshore wind farm, working for Vestas (topsides) and E.ON (foundations). Its scope included storage, assembly and offloading onto delivery jack-ups of major components including turbine towers, hubs, nacelles and blades, as well as monopiles and transition pieces. Harland and Wolff also supported the campaign with heavy engineering trades, dry-docking, repairs and modifications to delivery and installation vessels, and steel fabrication/construction during the Q2 2008 to Q3 2009 logistics and assembly period.
