Description
Following the transfer of the Robin Rigg transmission assets to TC Robin Rigg OFTO Ltd on 2 March 2011, E.ON Climate & Renewables (UK) Ltd (EC&R) continued to maintain those assets under an operations and maintenance arrangement. EC&R provided ongoing maintenance and technical services for the OFTO infrastructure, including the offshore and onshore substations and the 132 kV export cable system linking the Robin Rigg East and West wind farms to the Seaton grid connection. This role leveraged EC&R’s experience as the original developer and operator, ensuring continuity of expertise and local operational capability while the OFTO held ownership and the transmission licence.
