The Robin Rigg West transmission assets, comprising export cables and associated onshore substation infrastructure connecting the Robin Rigg wind farms in the Solway Firth to the 132kV electricity distribution network at Seaton in Cumbria, were commissioned in September 2009, bringing the first phase of the 180MW transmission link into operational service.
