Rhyl Flats Offshore Wind Farm entered full commercial operation in December 2009, with the 90 MW, 25‑turbine offshore project fully commissioned and generating electricity equivalent to the needs of roughly 61,000 households per year in the Irish Sea off the North Wales coast.
