On 17 November 2021, TC Rampion OFTO Ltd, established by Transmission Capital Partners, was awarded a transmission licence and took ownership of Rampion’s offshore transmission assets—including the offshore substation platform, two 150 kV export cables (16 km offshore, 26 km onshore), and the onshore substation at Twineham connecting to National Grid’s 400 kV Bolney substation—under the UK OFTO regime, with an asset transfer value of approximately £297.5 million.
