Global Marine Group, via its subsidiary CWind, was awarded a contract by E.ON to install a 96‑fibre armoured fibre optic communications cable supplied by Hexatronic between shore and the Rampion offshore substation, using the cable ship CS Recorder and Hi‑Plough burial system in the chalk seabed, with installation expected to be completed later in August 2017.
