By summer 2017, the Rampion project team and Fugro had completed laying all 122 inter‑array cables across the wind farm, successfully installing them through a narrow corridor between cleared unexploded ordnance and boulders, with remaining works focused on completing cable burial by at least one metre below the seabed by the end of the summer.
