On 6 March 2015, the Rampion Offshore Wind Farm developers entered into a contract with ABB for the design, manufacture, erection, installation, testing and commissioning of the onshore and offshore substations serving the Rampion transmission assets. The contract, which specifies a total price with a defined OFTO-related portion to be included in the regulated cost assessment, confirms ABB as the substation supplier for the Rampion OFTO infrastructure linking the wind farm to the UK grid.
