Description
RXHK (then part of RXPE) was contracted to provide two STATCOM-based ±120 Mvar dynamic reactive compensation systems for the Race Bank grid connection. The STATCOM systems were intended to ensure UK Grid Code reactive power and voltage control compliance and were installed at the onshore substation near Walpole.
