Description
Seaway Heavy Lifting executed the offshore installation of both Race Bank offshore substations. Using its heavy-lift vessel Oleg Strashnov, the company installed the jacket foundation for the second offshore substation in March 2017 and had previously installed the first substation in August 2016. Its scope covered lifting and setting the jackets and topsides onto the seabed foundations at the Race Bank site, delivering the offshore platforms that form key elements of the Race Bank OFTO transmission system.
