Description
Seaway Heavy Lifting carried out the offshore installation works for the two Race Bank offshore substations that form part of the Race Bank OFTO transmission assets. The company installed the first substation (Race Bank 02) in August 2016 and the second (Race Bank 01) in March 2017, lifting and positioning the jacket foundations and 2,900-tonne topsides on the seabed at the wind farm site during the construction phase.
