Description
Iemants, working together with Engie Fabricom, fabricated and delivered both offshore substation platforms for the Race Bank transmission assets. The consortium built the jacket foundations and 2,900-tonne topsides at its yard in Hoboken, Belgium, and prepared them for transport to the offshore site. These two HVAC offshore substations form part of the Race Bank OFTO asset package that connects the Race Bank offshore wind farm to the onshore grid at Walpole.
