Engie Fabricom worked jointly with Iemants to deliver both offshore substations for the Race Bank offshore wind farm grid connection, now forming part of the Race Bank OFTO transmission assets. From its yard in Hoboken, Belgium, Engie Fabricom was responsible during the construction phase for assembling, outfitting and completing the offshore substation platforms before they were shipped to the UK site for installation.
