Description
Eiffage Smulders built and supplied two offshore HVAC substation topsides and their jacket foundations for the Race Bank offshore wind farm grid connection, assets that were later transferred into the Race Bank OFTO transmission portfolio. The company’s construction-phase scope covered fabrication of the two steel topsides and supporting jackets for the offshore substations, which collect power from the turbines and export it via 220 kV circuits towards shore.
