Completion of offshore cable installation for the Race Bank OFTO, covering the remaining 63 km of the north 220 kV offshore export cable and the 6–6.5 km 220 kV interlink between the two offshore substations, was planned for Q2 2017. At the time of the September 2016 project update, the south offshore export cable was already installed and jointing was underway, with the outstanding offshore lengths scheduled to be laid and completed in this Q2 2017 campaign.
