Horizon Geosciences

Horizon Geosciences Limited carried out the early site investigation campaigns at the Pentland Floating Offshore Wind Farm site for Hexicon AB. The work covered a geophysical survey from 1-17 October 2016 (mapping sub-surface geology to ~20 m depth, bathymetry, seabed debris and geohazards including boulders within glacial sediments) and a follow-on geotechnical survey in June 2017 (sampling sub-seabed lithologies, shallow bedrock and geohazards across the array area).
