The limited-contact offshore survey carried out by the Pentland project within the Dounreay foreshore exclusion zone in September 2022 was completed with very restricted interaction with the seabed at two points, and subsequent testing of soil samples and equipment found no radioactive contamination attributable to the survey activities.
