Hexicon AB commissioned Horizon Geosciences Limited to begin a geophysical survey at the future Pentland Floating Offshore Wind Farm site on 1 October 2016, to map sub-surface geology to at least 20 m depth, acquire accurate bathymetry, detect seabed debris and cemented material, and identify potential geohazards including boulders within glacial sediments.
