HEDNO (ΔΕΔΔΗΕ) reports in its 2024–2028 Distribution Network Development Plan that the network reinforcement project EN.YB.19.18 "Submarine Cables Paros–Antiparos," involving installation of a medium-voltage submarine cable between Paros and Antiparos, has been completed. The scheme is listed as a completed project with total recorded expenditure of €1.37 million against an initial budget of €1.2 million and is identified as one of several medium-voltage submarine cable reinforcement works finished during 2023–2024.
HEDNO (DEDDIE) completed the Paros–Antiparos medium-voltage submarine cable project as part of its Cyclades network reinforcement works, with the interconnection listed as delivered in 2023 and classified as an already completed network strengthening project in the 2024–2028 Development Plan. Following completion of construction and commissioning, the Paros–Antiparos link entered full operational service, enhancing the electricity distribution network between the two islands.
On 11 March 2021, the board of the Hellenic Electricity Distribution Network Operator (DEDDIE) selected FULGOR A.E. as the provisional contractor for tender ΔΕΕΔ-33/27.4.2020, covering the supply and laying of 20 kV XLPE-insulated submarine power cables for four medium-voltage interconnections, including the Paros–Antiparos link, for a total contract value of about €7.67 million.
