Description
Wood Thilsted was appointed as the Front End Engineering Design (FEED) wind turbine foundation designer for the 1.5 GW Outer Dowsing Offshore Wind project located about 54 km off the Lincolnshire coast. The scope covered FEED design for foundation primary and secondary structures, supporting engineering studies, technical documentation, and cost modelling to reduce design and installation risk. Wood Thilsted had completed an initial phase of work and was progressing to a second FEED phase at the time of the announcement.
