In July 2022, as part of the UK Offshore Transmission Network Review, the Holistic Network Design identified and proposed two potential onshore grid connection options for Outer Dowsing Offshore Wind—Weston Marsh and Lincolnshire Node—based on system design objectives for an efficient and deliverable transmission network. This system‑level assessment provided the basis for the project’s subsequent grid connection and route selection work.
