On 2 August 2022, Outer Dowsing Offshore Wind, jointly developed by Corio Generation and TotalEnergies, began an extensive consultation exercise with stakeholders after submitting its Project Scoping Report to the Planning Inspectorate. This early-stage consultation, including planned public information events in autumn 2022, was intended to inform the design and layout of the 1.5 GW offshore wind farm and its associated infrastructure ahead of a later Development Consent Order (DCO) application.
