On 3 May 2025, Outer Dowsing Offshore Wind commenced a 3.5‑month offshore geotechnical borehole survey within the proposed wind farm area, using Geoquip Marine’s vessel Dina Polaris. The campaign involves drilling geotechnical boreholes at multiple locations across the site to characterise seabed and sub‑seabed conditions for foundation and infrastructure design, with operations scheduled to run until 8 August 2025.
