Offshore trade press summarising information from 50Hertz states that "the expected completion date for the Ostwind 3 grid connection system and the Windanker offshore wind farm [...] is 30 September 2026, 50Hertz says" (Offshorewind.biz, article 'Grid Connection Platform for Windanker Offshore Wind Farm Installed in Baltic Sea', 14 Jan 2026). This refers to the completion of the Ostwind 3 grid connection, of which the Jasmund offshore substation (OSS) is the key platform. We therefore project commissioning of the OSS (oss_commissioned) on 2026-09-30 in line with the developer-stated completion date for the grid connection system.
