DELAYED +3yr (May 2026): Planning Inspectorate EN0210006 confirms the Ossian Transmission Infrastructure application was withdrawn on 27 March 2026; Ossian’s covering letter states they are pausing the DCO process due to changes in grid design and cannot indicate when they will recommence, only that it will be at a future date. Therefore the previously projected DCO submission (2027-10) is no longer credible; pushing to an approximate later timeframe pending a re-start of the DCO process. --- The Planning Inspectorate records that the Ossian Offshore Wind Farm Ltd application for the Ossian Transmission Infrastructure Electric Lines Development Consent Order, covering HVDC offshore export cables in English waters, landfall structures, HVDC onshore export cables and onshore converter stations in Lincolnshire, is expected to be submitted in October 2027.
