On 26 November 2021, Equinor awarded Heerema Marine Contractors a transport and installation contract, estimated at NOK 60 million, for the Oseberg Gas Capacity Upgrade and Power-from-Shore project. Heerema’s heavy-lift vessel Sleipnir is scheduled in summer 2024 to install three large modules, totalling around 3,400 tonnes, being built at Aibel’s Haugesund yard for integration into the Oseberg Field Centre.
