On 21 December 2015, Swedish pension group AMF agreed a £237 million deal with Vattenfall to acquire a 49% equity stake in the 150 MW Ormonde offshore wind farm in the Irish Sea, allowing Vattenfall to release capital for further renewables investment while retaining majority ownership.
