Vattenfall’s 150 MW Ormonde Offshore Wind Farm in the Irish Sea exported first power in August 2011, following deployment of the initial turbines at the 30‑turbine site off Barrow‑in‑Furness, Cumbria. This marked the start of electricity generation from the project ahead of full commissioning.
