Description
Offshore Wind Consultants Limited (OWC) was employed by Transmission Capital Services Limited (TCS) to provide technical consultancy services covering OFTO assets managed by TCS, including TC Ormonde OFTO Limited. OWC’s role focused on the operations and maintenance phase of the subsea export cable system and other OFTO transmission assets. Its scope included preparing cable repair and maintenance strategies, developing contract strategies for future maintenance works, and drafting specifications and tender packages for services under forthcoming maintenance contracts. OWC also developed detailed employer’s requirements for cable repair operations in different water depths and for different cable types, to support effective contingency planning and timely remediation of any cable faults across the TCS OFTO portfolio, including the Ormonde export cable.
